About the Journal

The journal takes an interdisciplinary approach to disorders of bone metabolism, including metabolic diseases that affect bone metabolism, with a focus on their diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment—particularly osteoporosis—and prevention. It is designed as an open professional forum for discussion and a source of information for postgraduate education, primarily for osteologists, but also for outpatient internists, gynecologists, rheumatologists, and general practitioners.

The publication languages are Czech, Slovak, and English. All articles are anonymously peer-reviewed by two independent reviewers. Members of the editorial board are not employees of the publisher.
