Informace o časopise

Časopis se zaměřuje v interdisciplinárním kontextu na problematiku patologie metabolizmu kostí, na problematiku metabolických onemocnění zasahujících do metabolizmu kostí, na problematiku diagnostiky, diferenciální diagnostiky a léčby těchto onemocnění, zejména osteoporózy, a v neposlední řadě také na prevenci těchto onemocnění. Časopis je koncipován jako otevřené odborné diskusní fórum a informační zdroj pro postgraduální vzdělávání především pro osteology, ale také pro ambulantní internisty a praktické lékaře.

Publikačními jazyky jsou čeština, slovenština a angličtina. Všechny články jsou anonymně recenzovány dvěma nezávislými recenzenty. Členové redakční rady nejsou zaměstnanci vydavatele.

Časopis je indexován v databázích SCOPUS | Bibliographia medica Čechoslovaca | Bibliographia Medica Slovaca | Seznam recenzovaných neimpaktovaných periodik vydávaných v České republice.
